  1. I understand marriage is among the top “life stress events,” right up there with losing your job.  Do you think planning the wedding is a large part of the stress?

  2. If weddings are typically so stressful, where do you begin “de-stressing” the process?

  3. It seems everyone has an opinion about wedding plans once you announce your engagement.  How do you prevent having your special day hijacked by someone else’s expectations and opinions?

  4. Does the wedding day only belong to the bride?  Is there room for the groom’s wishes as well?

  5. Since money is a source of stress within marriages, it seems natural that it would be a source of stress for an engaged couple as well.  What financial advice do you offer to those planning a wedding?
