Interview Questions for Angela
Thomas
Author of Prayers for The Mother To Be
ba
1.
The
writing process for this book, Prayers for The Mother To Be, was a bit
different than for most. Is it true
that you spent your fourth pregnancy penning the prayers we read in this book?
2.
Do
you think prayer is a natural response when a woman discovers she is carrying a
child? Why?
3. Your prayers are divided into five topical sections, which I
think all moms will identify with. Tell
us what you see as the common emotions shared by expectant moms and how those
are woven into your prayers.
4. One of the elements I love in your book is that the prayers
are not solely for the growing baby.
Many are for mom, as she feels moody and wonders if she’ll be pregnant
forever! Do you think moms sometimes
forget that God cares about them as much as the child they carry?
5. Another unique element to your book, Prayers for the
Mother to Be[TT1], is the fact that each prayer is based on a scripture that
is printed on the page. Why do you feel
this is important?
6.
How do you hope
expectant moms will make use of this book during their nine-month journey?
7.
So, you wrote
this book while you were pregnant with AnnaGrace. How old is she now, and how have you seen God answer your prayers
for her?
