PARABLE REGIONAL MEETINGS RECEIVE HIGHEST RATINGS

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA–-The Parable Group and Parable Interactive have compiled “Best of 2001” lists highlighting the hottest titles of the year in five categories—books, Bibles, music, children’s books and videos—based on customer sales in Parable stores and at their private label websites. Parable has also created “Best of 2001” Editor’s Choice lists in four categories. This marks the first time such lists have been created, and for a limited time each bestseller will be offered at a substantial discount when purchased at any Parable store website.

Parable’s “Best of 2001” best-selling selections are based on sales in nearly 300 Parable Christian Stores and 250 Parable Interactive Private Label sites. Customers are saying that prayer and worship are hot topics, with The Prayer of Jabez by Bruce Wilkinson (Multnomah Publishers) placing as the top selling book, while Michael W. Smith’s album Worship (Reunion Records) holds the #1 slot for music products. The list of #1 selling products from Parable in 2001 includes:
