Deep in his heart, Hercules is a nice guy, but he has a temper and has yet to grasp the skills of sharing and patience. Jenny the Dog (Amy Grant) - Jenny is a natural-born leader. She likes to take charge and makes sure everything is in its proper place. But she gets a bit frazzled when not all goes exactly as planned. Sam the Ram - Sam learns lessons differently than the majority. He is very caring and curious, but he has a short attention span and needs a little extra effort to help him keep up with the others. Brandon the Steer - Brandon is the genius in the group and a technology whiz. But he is very shy and needs help learning how to communicate and handle social situations. Porkchop the Pig - Porkchop thrives on creativity. He loves music and is able to turn any item or situation into something musical. Dr. Patchit - Sally Patchit is the local large-animal veterinarian, but she's not your average vet. She's hip and cool with a dry sense of humor. She shows the animals how important it is to ask for help and she's a great listener. Ed Sanchez - Ed runs the General Store and seems to have time to talk to everybody that comes by. And sooner or later, everyone comes by! Founder Biographies: Ray Nelson - Co-President and Creative Director Ray Nelson is the main author and illustrator of the Flying Rhinoceros educational book series and creator of the characters in the CBS television show "Flying Rhino Junior High." Ray previously worked for five years at Will Vinton Studios, where he animated the California Raisins and worked on two Emmy award-winning television specials. Since starting Flying Rhinoceros in 1993, Ray has also appeared in hundreds of schools to provide interactive workshops to students of all ages, exploring the creative worlds of cartooning, writing, illustrating and animation. Ray lives in Oregon with his wife Theresa and their two children Alexandria and Zach…and a mutant dog named Molly. Ranjy Thomas - Co-President and Vice President of Business Development As Co-President of Flying Rhinoceros, Ranjy Thomas extends the company's reach in educational and faith-based markets, building success for its characters in the entertainment industry. Ranjy was instrumental in placing and marketing the CBS Television series "Flying Rhino Junior High," including a national outreach tour to schools across the country. He negotiated the unique partnerships with the U.S. Olympics Committee, Smithsonian, Kraft and AOL. Ranjy also develops the company's relationships with celebrity voice talents (i.e. Amy Grant, Vince Gill and Randy Travis) to enhance the quality of Flying Rhinoceros projects. Personally, Ranjy has spent the last fifteen years talking to thousands of kids about the importance of faith, hope and love. Ranjy lives in Portland, Oregon, with his wife Shine. They spend most of their spare time anticipating the birth of their first child in December 2004.
