PAX-TV
Announces Max Lucado Double Feature
Jacob’s Gift
and The Crippled Lamb Videos Airing Nationally on December 9
Two
best-selling videos by Max Lucado will be aired nationally on the PAX-TV
Network on Saturday, December 9, 2000. The
Crippled Lamb (called for television, The Christmas Lamb) and Jacob’s
Gift videos air back-to-back in primetime—from 7 pm to 8 pm Eastern
Time. PAX, the national
family entertainment network, currently reaches 81% U.S. television households
via its nationwide broadcast television, cable and satellite distribution
system.
PAX TV is
heavily promoting the two videos with ten commercials airing the week prior to
December 9. It will promote the shows
with multiple “Stay Tuned” announcements the day of the broadcast. PAX is also planning a national print
advertisement in TV Guide (circulation: 11,800,000). The videos are
available for retail sale for $14.99 each and are based on best-selling
children’s picture books by Max Lucado.
Both the videos and the picture books are produced and distributed by
Tommy Nelson.
“This is
an incredible exposure for these videos, Tommy Nelson and Max Lucado,” says
David Anderson, Vice President, Entertainment and Licensing, Tommy Nelson. “We hope millions will come to love and
appreciate these two holiday classics.”
With more
than 15 million books in print, Max Lucado is the top author in the
Christian/Inspirational market. His
adult and children’s books have been regulars on the CBA and Publishers
Weekly Religion Bestseller lists.
In 1999, The Crippled Lamb video appeared on Billboard
Magazine’s Top Music Videos for six weeks, hitting #1 on December 11,
1999. In addition to his writing,
Lucado is the pastor of Oak Hills Church of Christ in San Antonio, Texas.
