Description:
A
beautiful animated butterfly named DeLaura understands the value of God’s Ten
Commandments, but some of her furry friends need help. As her four buddies (a squirrel, raccoon,
skunk and rabbit) find themselves in familiar but sticky situations, DeLaura
helps them see how God’s commands apply to everyday life. Each of the ten story vignettes unfolds the
meaning of one of the Ten Commandments and is followed by a brief, original
song (entire songs are featured on the God’s Top Ten audio
products).
In the
first vignette, Petunia decides she can make up her own rules for checkers, but
her friends are furious. DeLaura
intervenes, explaining that whoever makes the game has the authority to make
the rules—just like God, our creator, has the authority to make the rules for
our lives. Following this scene is a
portion of the song “God Makes the Rules” which helps kids remember the
commandment’s meaning.
Parents
and grandparents will be thrilled to discover this enjoyable tool for
establishing a child’s moral foundation.
The video creates an atmosphere for discussion in the home and gives
parents a great tool for teaching their children how God’s laws are a loving
gift for everyday life.

Description:
One
theme song and ten other original songs (one for each commandment) bring the
Ten Commandments to life for kids.
Using a variety of musical styles, from pop to ballads to country to
Latin, these tunes will get young bodies moving as they get young minds
thinking. Kids will never forget God’s
command to honor their parents as they sing the rollicking country tune “I Show
Respect.” Likewise, the soothing ballad
entitled “I Do” helps children understand the value of marriage vows in relation
to God’s seventh command.
Each
song is featured in its entirety, including vocals by children and adults, live
instrumentation and unforgettable arrangements. It’s music to live by and music to enjoy—music that parents will
be happy to play for their kids again and again.
