Faith Communications Announces ‘Year Four’ Goals

Christian Division of Health Communications Increases CBA Impact

 

DEERFIELD BEACH, FLORIDA—Faith Communications, the Christian publishing imprint of Health Communications Inc. (HCI), has completed three years of publishing has announced its goals for year four.  Health Communications, best known for its Chicken Soup for the Soul book series, launched the Faith Communications division during Spring 2002 to create books for the Christian marketplace.  The tagline for Faith Communications is ‘Practical faith. Believe it. Live it.

            Peter Vegso, president and publisher of HCI and Faith Communications, comments on the future of the new imprint, “The success of Faith Communication’s first three years has been solid, and our goals for year four build upon those successes.  We look forward to a greater presence within CBA retail outlets, serving those stores with excellent product and remarkable service.” 

Faith Communication’s plan for year four includes goals for editorial, sales and distribution divisions:

·         Expanding awareness and distribution among CBA retailers while building a solid reputation as a trusted Christian product supplier

·         Publishing select titles in hardcover for maximum retail value (previous Faith Communications titles have been trade paper)

·         Acquiring respected new authors and titles that focus on the interpretation and application of God’s Word

 

More than a dozen titles, from authors such as Jennifer O’Neill, Pat Williams and Dr. Julianna Slattery, have been published during Faith Communication’s first three years.  Spring 2005 releases include In the Grip of His Mercy by Bishop Donald Hilliard, Jr., Champions for Life by Bill Glass and Forever Young by Pat Williams and Karen Kingsbury (the first hardcover title for Faith Communications).  Faith Communications will release Down to the Roots: Hot Spots in Christian Rock by Gregory Rumburg early in 2006.
