Before co-founding MMPR, McClure spent eight years in the public relations department of Word Publishing

relationships with trade and consumer media. McClure also served on the Women's Press Committee, Word
Publishing Board and Word Titling Committee.
During her tenure at Word, McClure enjoyed working on numerous best-selling book campaigns including titles

Word Series), Bill and Lyndi McCartney (Sold Out), Deion Sanders (Power, Money & Sex), Kirk Franklin
(Church Boy), John MacArthur (The MacArthur Study Bible) and novelist Sigmund Brouwer (The Weeping Chamber).
McClure worked to form a publicity strategy for introducing Word fiction authors (Penelope Stokes, Randall
Arthur, Dean Briggs, Tom Williams, etc.) to retailers and consumers as well as to the media. In addition,
she designed creative Christian school promotions for new children's titles from the WORDkids!(TM) imprint.
McClure, who earned a B.S. in Education, previously spent five years in middle school and elementary
classrooms where she worked to encourage gifted students in the areas of leadership, creative writing
and performance. McClure, a native Texan, has spent the last several years enjoying the vivid seasons of Franklin, Tennessee, where she resides with her husband Glenn, son Max and twin daughters Lexie and Roxie.
